The finished squared square is squishy, soft with a really dense fabric. It’s rich in its simplicity perfect for coordinating with other squares, or as a lone motif.

Basketweave Square was designed especially for the 2022 Charity Fall Cozy MAL. A portion of proceeds from this event will be donated to Cure Childhood Cancer.

This pattern is offered in one size. To get smaller or larger sizes, go up or down a hook size and yarn weight from the ones indicated.

Materials:
• 7 mm Tunisian crochet hook
• 40 yards of worsted weight yarn
• Blocking board and pins (optional)
• Scissors
• Darning needle

Yarn details:
This pattern uses approximately 40 yards of worsted weight yarn. It’s a good match for soft warm and light colours to bring out the textured stitches to their best advantage. However, if you want to use variegated yarn, I recommend ones with lighter hues or gradient yarn instead.
